Sending your guests mass emails | Best Practices

Show cancellations can be a hassle, but TurnTable makes the process easier so you can focus on what’s next. Follow these best practices to ensure a smooth cancellation process.

Step 1: Confirm Guest Reservation Statuses

Before proceeding with a mass email, ensure that all guest reservations are in a valid status.

Accepted statuses include:

  • Expected (Recommended)

  • Other non-canceled statuses

Do not proceed if guest statuses are: (they will not appear in the Mass Email list)

  • CANCELED

  • FAILED

  • OBSOLETE

Step 2: Send Mass Email Notification

Once you've confirmed guest statuses, notify your guests about the cancellation. Follow the steps outlined in the Mass Email Article to compose and send your message.

Step 3: Cancel the Show and Remove It from Your Lineup

After notifying guests, proceed with canceling the show:

  1. Update Guest Reservations – Mark all guest reservations as CANCELED.

  2. Delete the Show – Navigate to Performance Tools, click the dropdown arrow, and select Delete Performance.

Following these steps ensures a clean and efficient cancellation process, keeping your operations organized and your guests informed.
