FAQ: How can I deactivate alternative payment methods (e.i. Apple Pay, Cash App, Google Wallet)

Prefer to skip Apple Pay or Cash App? Here’s how to disable alt payment methods in Stripe.

By default, TurnTable enables a variety of alternative payment methods through your Stripe account—like Apple Pay, Cash App, and Google Wallet—to make checkout smooth for your guests. But if you’d prefer not to accept some of these, no problem—you can manage them directly in Stripe.

How to turn off alternative payment methods:

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard
Head to dashboard.stripe.com and sign in using your Stripe credentials.

  2. Go to Settings → Payment Methods
Click the gear icon in the upper right, then choose Payment Methods under the Payments section.

  3. Scroll to “Wallets” or “Bank Redirects”
You’ll see methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App, and more grouped by category.

  4. Click “Manage” next to the method you want to change
Toggle off any payment methods you don’t want to offer. Stripe will immediately stop presenting them to customers during checkout.

Need to re-enable one later?
Just follow the same steps and toggle the payment method back on.

Important to know:
TurnTable sets default payment methods when we connect your Stripe account, but you always have the final say. Any changes made in Stripe will override TurnTable’s defaults.
