FAQ: What is a Pending Reservation
Are you seeing a Pending Reservation on your screen and want to know what it is? Take a look at this article to learn more.
There's a new feature within TurnTable that we are excited to share with you. Previously, during the checkout process, guests were able to select a table and then reach the payment stage to find that their selected table was already reserved by another guest, requiring them to start over.
Now, when a table is selected, it is temporarily marked as "Pending Reservation." If two guests try to reserve the same table at the same time, only one will succeed, and the other will be notified to select a different table. If a reservation is not completed, the table automatically becomes available again after 8 minutes.
Additionally, Venue Tools provides visibility into this activity, allowing you to see when a guest is in the process of making a reservation. This information is important for managing table reservations effectively.
